So sad to hear this news over 12 months after her passing. Chris was a wonderful co-operator and always had a smile and kind words of encouragement for everyone she came across. I have spent may happy times in her company, and of her husband John, during my years at Co-operatives UK and on the many various committees we were associated with. The world is a lot less brighter without people like Chris but no doubt she leaves many more the wiser for having known her during her very rich lifetime.

Chris was my dad John partner, she loved and cared for him right up until he passed away I was with Chris at the hospital when Dad passed away she was so devastated, they had so much in common and had some lovely holidays, Chris was a friend, stepmother to us, we had so many happy times together. Since she moved away and with all my illness we not seen each other as much as we wanted to but we were always in contact I will miss the lovely text and whatsapp messages. We all miss you so much, too young to be taken from us and all her friends. Tony, Carol, Annie, James. Xxxx

Fear no more the heat o' the sun,
Nor the furious winter's rages;
Thou thy worldly task hast done,
Home art gone, and ta'en thy wages
